How to set up Barberium

Add your services
Benefit: Your menu is ready for online booking in minutes.
Add your barbers
Open Barbers, click Add barber, then select which services this barber provides before saving.
Benefit: Barbers scan a QR to start the day — no app store, no password.
Done — your booking page is live
Benefit: Clients book 24/7 from the link you share — with your logo and colors, not a generic widget.
Customize how the page looks (included at $100/month):
- Open Online booking page in your dashboard to copy your link and preview the page
- Pick a button color — applies to the public booking page and embedded widget
- Add optional phone and email shown to clients (leave blank to hide)
- Upload your shop logo under Settings → Location Settings — it appears on the booking page header
No developer needed. Open the link in a new tab after saving to verify the look.
Migrate existing appointments
Benefit: Keep your calendar when you switch tools.
Import your existing appointments from your current system:
- Export appointments from your old system (CSV/Excel format)
- Go to Settings → Import appointments
- Upload the file and map the fields
- Review and confirm the import
How to enable email reminders for clients
Benefit: Email reminders included — no SMS add-on fees. Write confirmations and reminders in your shop's voice.
Steps to enable email reminders:
- Go to Settings → Notifications
- Turn on the reminder types you need (booking confirmation, reminder, cancellation, completion)
- Set how far in advance reminder emails are sent
- Optionally add your Google review link for post-visit emails
- Save your settings
Customize each email with the template editor:
- On any notification card, click Edit subject and message
- Change the subject line and body — click a placeholder tag (e.g. client name, appointment time) to insert dynamic data
- Check the live preview, then click Save
- Use Reset to default anytime to restore Barberium's built-in copy
Email reminders only — we do not charge SMS add-on fees.
No-show protection — how to set it up
Benefit: Card hold at booking; Stripe captures on no-show via your account.
Protect your business from no-shows:
- Go to Settings → No-show protection
- Connect your Stripe account
- Turn on "Require deposit" for new bookings
- Set the deposit amount (e.g. $20 or 20% of the service price)
- Configure your cancellation policy (e.g. free cancellation up to 2 hours before)
- Turn on "Automatic no-show fee charge" (optional)
